All pupils are required to wear the school uniform. We feel that high standards of dress are important.
Our academy supplier is Gogna Schoolwear & Sports, 67/69 Rookery Road, Birmingham, B21 9QU.
However, most items can be bought from other stores.
Infants (Reception – Year 2)
- Black skirt (knee length) or black trousers (Required- Any generic, can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda, Tesco and second hand retailers)
- Green round neck jumper with Mansfield Green Logo (Logo jumper is required, Purchased from Gogna Schoolwear )
- White Polo shirt (Required- Any generic, Can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda ,Tesco and second hand retailers)
- Plain black ankle/knee-length socks or tights (Required- Any generic, Can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda ,Tesco and second hand retailers)
- Black shoes (no trainers, sandals or heels)(Required- Any generic, Can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda ,Tesco, Clarks and second hand retailers)
- If you wish your child to wear a headscarf, it must be a black, pull on, plain scarf.
Juniors (Year 3 – Year 6)

Clothing for P.E. & Games
To be brought into school at the start of the term, in a named pump bag and taken home for washing at the end of term.
Indoor/Outdoor P.E. kit:
- Green/Yellow Polo Shirt with Mansfield Logo (Required – purchased from Gogna Schoolwear)
- Plain Black jogging bottoms (Required- Any generic, can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda, Tesco and second hand retailers)
- Trainers (Required- Any generic, can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda, Tesco, Sports direct and second hand retailers).
- A change of socks are also compulsory for hygiene reasons. (Required- Any generic, can be purchased from most retailers eg. Asda, Tesco and second hand retailers)
Swimming lessons (Year 3) the staff at Perry Beeches baths insist that all children with long hair wear swimming caps (Required , Can be purchased from sports direct or from Perry beeches baths) . For safety reasons all jewellery, including ear studs, must be removed and children may wear swimming trunks, or ‘Bermuda’ shorts. Please put swim-wear and a towel in a named bag.
Please label all items of clothing with your child’s name.
We collect a large amount of lost property and if your child’s clothing is not named, we cannot guarantee that it will be returned to you.
Important Notes
Jewellery
In the interest of safety, children with pierced ears should wear studs and not hooped earrings. Studs must be removed for swimming and PE/Games lessons (children should be able to do this themselves). Children must not wear any other item of jewellery except watches, which must be removed for PE/Games
Make-up
Nail varnish, false nails and make-up are not permitted.
Hair
Hairbands, scrunchies, clips should be black. No fancy/ornate hair accessories. Hair colourant, excessive use of hair gel are not acceptable.
