Intent
At Mansfield Green E-ACT Primary Academy we are a multicultural community within which we celebrate students and cultures from all over the world. We actively strive to support all students in learning about and deepening their understanding of British values, culture and systems.
We ensure that the fundamental British Values are introduced, discussed and modelled through our academy ‘vision and values’ as well as E-ACTs core principles. All curriculum areas provide a vehicle for furthering the understanding of these concepts particularly, History, Geography, RE and PSHE. British values are also taught explicitly in weekly assemblies. The school subject lead for British Values works closely with the Personal Development team to ensure a cohesive approach.

Impact
Pupils will have excellent opportunities to deepen and develop their understanding of what British values are and how they relate to themselves. Children will embrace these concepts with enthusiasm and demonstrate a good understanding of their application to their own lives.
